National Council for La Raza

The most stupid comment about Latinos to come out of a Democrats' mouth, courtesy of National Council of La Raza

As much as I love bashing Republicans and their racist pride, I am not one to shy back from pointing out the ass backwards platitudes that come out of the mouths of Democrats, liberals and all those so called Latino allies. This list also includes the professional "people of color" lobbying groups which are always eager to embrace any politician's attention if it means they get to cash a paycheck at the end of the month.

So who am I railing about today? None other than Tim Kaine and the National Council for La Raza. Both deserve a smackdown of sorts. From Democrats have huge day with Latinos - Mike Allen - POLITICO.com:

"The Latino community is quickly becoming one of the most influential in the entire country," Kaine says in prepared remarks. "And the demographic is changing. Right now, one in 10 people in Virginia are born outside the U.S. ... I think it's safe to say that President Obama wouldn't have won Virginia (for the first time since 1964), and wouldn't have the White House so overwhelmingly without the support of the Latino Community, so I thank you for that."

We could give Tim Kaine a pass for sticking in there the "in the entire coutry" caveat but, honestly, if you stick to textbooks about US History you will never EVER learn anything about the real "making" of the United States.

Why did the US win the wars against México or Spain? Why did the US government use Spanish and Criollo missionaries to colonize Native Americans throughout the country? Which was the largest minority group to fight in the WW2 and the Korean War and even JUST EVEN the Iraq War? And can someone tell me what was the biggest accomplishment of someone like Alberto Gonzales?

Hispanics and Latinos have always been power-brokers for the US political elites. Always. Across the country, behind closed doors and not just at the electoral ballots.

Without "Hispanics" and Latinos there would be no US Empire.

The Latino KKK

latino KKK

Rumor has it Tom Tancredo has had this exact nightmare. Janet Murguia of the National Council on La Raza would love to read him a bedtime story and check under his bed for monsters.

Am sure Sonia Sotomayor would just love to punch him in the face. Hey! She's a spicy Puerto Rican.

"My ancestors are probably longer in this country than many Europeans who don't call themselves European-Americans. Why would I want to identify with Africa?" he said.
