I don't know how you do it
I don't know how you do it moiv, seriously, showing up every single day for women and young girls, and educating people too, you singlehandedly teach so many so much.
It's still appalling and amazing that so many aren't aware of so much. When I first started making comments here on CK some people didn't, and still don't, know who Democrats for Life is or what their agenda is.
The 95-10 initiative is seen as a good thing, blows their minds that pro-lifers would put forth such a seemingly positive bill for women and young girls.
You must get worn out and discouraged that oh these many years later people are still so unaware. And this is what it comes down to for me, this is a comment I made on My Left Wing about the presidential candidates. My 'litmus test' but that's not accurate, a litmus test is usually one issue, this war against women, the care crisis that has been ignored for forty years is not just one issue, it's every single issue that falls behind where women deserve to be and should be in this country.
It's the fuckingass elephant in the room.
I'm fuckingass sick and tired of waiting, being shushed, told to hold on, that women's rights will be addressed. It's like Harry Reid said yesterday about Iraq, women's rights will still be there, we'll get back to them when we can. Hell, they were never there to begin with with women's rights.
Fuck Harry Reid and the Democratic leadership who never sees its way clear to talking about a single one of the issues that effect women's lives, sometimes in heinous ways, fuck em, they will not get my support, my endorsement, or my vote until women's rights are at the forefront of their campaigns.
They shouldn't have made me mad, now there's hell to pay. Huge mistake, fuckingass huge.
