I don't mind a bit of blog pimping. Do it myself. But only in the context of linking back to diaries. But I don't post partial diaries where there is no content unless someone clicks on a link. I may have many other links to urge people to go to, but there is always something to discuss separate from any clicking.

So I agree with Michael here. Please post a full diary. If you want to include links to related diaries, fine. But cliff hangers focing people to go to the link to discuss aren't cool.

Words to live by Sometimes it feels satisfying. But more often it seems ineffective and pointless. This blog has been more my platform for venting than an actual tool of change --lazy activism, if you will. Or maybe it's just that my interest in seeing the world change has been replaced by a deep cynicism about whether that change will happen. It takes a lot of energy to sustain anger against a cultural machine. And that anger is starting to feel more futile and self-defeating.
