Yes he did

Mole, he just recently deleted two of my posts on the libelous accusation that I called him a racist, which I absolutely did not. This is a matter of consistency in *blog* policy. Do the same rules of this blog apply to the administrators of this board as they do to the users? Michael Bouldin made factual claims about me in his first post in this item that are lies, that he cannot back up. They are libel, and so I have requested the item be removed just as he removed the text of my original responses in the item about the Edwards meeting. Also, you are the managing editor, you have taken that responsibility, so if you tell me to take it up with Liza does that mean you have resigned the position? If not, I'd suggest you wield your responsibility and attempt to enforce a uniform code of conduct around here that applies to everyone, you, me, bouldin, all other users, everyone. You cannot have credibility telling other users not to call people profane names (douchebag?) and not to libel other people, if you will not enforce such rules universally.

Sometimes it feels satisfying. But more often it seems ineffective and pointless. This blog has been more my platform for venting than an actual tool of change --lazy activism, if you will. Or maybe it's just that my interest in seeing the world change has been replaced by a deep cynicism about whether that change will happen. It takes a lot of energy to sustain anger against a cultural machine. And that anger is starting to feel more futile and self-defeating. I mean, how many times and in how many ways can you say "Fuck racists. Fuck sexists. Fuck rich people. Fuck community-destroying trolls. Fuck Republicans."?
