(just as one contributor and one who hasn't said so previously) that reading that one Elizabeth Edwards post in that moment, was like getting hit between the eyes with the clawed end of a big ugly hammer -- or maybe in the chest since it literally took my breath and nearly made me retch.

I admit political blogs aren't my natural online habitat, but FWIW taken as a whole for the thinking behind it, this may have been the single worst, most dangerous sounding, twisted and demented "political" case I have ever read online. Thank you, all three of you strong editors, for posting immediately and very clearly what I was feeling, and felt had to be said by someone, if I were to be able to remain here myself.
