I was going to steal (with credit, of course) part of an "Iraq by numbers" post from dKos. May still do it since, though it contains much of the same stuff, I planned on doing a more stark, jarring presentation...and the numbers are something we should be thinking about daily.

And as someone who was there on 9/11, heard the planes crash, lost a friend and felt the ashes of nearly 3000 dead New Yorkers rain down on me the evening of 9/11, I can tell you I do blame Bush's refusal to pay attention to Clinton's "obsession with al-Qaeda" as well as bin Laden himself for what happened that day.
