Sorry. Haste makes trouble. I received the book yesterday and started reading. I wanted to watch the Moyers program in rerun on PBS regarding the Nichols/Fein interview. Well, I've done both. The book is very worthwhile.
One historical fact--and I was very enlightened by the long history of impeachment--which helped me personally involved Truman and his Korean War. I was in Denmark during that episode and wondered how it could be that Truman could start a war with Congressional approval. When I arrived back in the US, MacArthur had just arrived also, ready to give his "old soldiers never die" speech to Congress.
