Get over yourself

Now I am not fan of MLW. Far from it. Used to post there. Got tired of it so stopped. I don't share Liza's liking for it. And as for punk creds, well, I am related to Henry Rollins (never met him, but talked with his grandmother right after her 100th birthday...if that counts).

Seriously, though, you are displaying PRECISELY the things you critcize in Liza and O'Connor. You assume that because they don't agree with you lockstep, you are a genius and they are fools. If that is what you dislike about MLW (whether it's true or not is irrelavent...it is your perception of the truth), they why are you behaving exactly as asinine and intolerant and stupid as your claims of others?

You may have no clue about Culture Kitchen, but we have built a well-respected little blog here. There are lots of things posted here that I don't fully agree with, but Liza and I are happy people post them...they bring up fascinating debate, help shape ideas and let a DIVERSITY of ideas get expressed. Sorry if we aren't lockstep in agreement with your little idea of how things should be. But we get plenty of recognition from far more impressive people than you: from Teresa Heinz Kerry to NASA scientists to Pacifica radio hosts and well known historians, we get some pretty cool praise and a readership that comes from all over the world, all branches of government, and from a diversity of ideas.

Criticize MLW if you like. I may well even agree with you more than I agree with Liza. But if you act like a prick again, I will consider zapping your bilous comment...and it would be only the third time I have ever done so.
