I think the press is underplaying the historic signficance of last night. For the first time in American history a woman won a presidential election contest. Even twenty years ago the idea that a woman could be on the ballot with five guys in a presidential contest and beat them all was far fetched. I remember when Pat Schroeder tried to run in 1984, she had a hard time just getting the male dominated press to take her candidacy seriously. Yesterday a woman was not only taken as seriously as all the guys, but she BEAT all the guys. Times have changed. A woman can win. Hillary Clinton proved it.
