Excuse me

Ummm...MoveOn contacted their members asking them to vote. There was no bias. Those who choose to vote get counted. Those who don't vote do not get counted. For those who prefer complaining to voting, let this be a lesson. As I recall (and I could be misremembering or remembering another vote) "no endorsement" was an option. Those who didn't vote really don't have any reason to complain.

As to resigning their membership, I seriously doubt many will. MoveOn.org's membership, and effetiveness, have been growing steadily since their foundation. And through much controversy.

Words to live by

“I just think this is the worst type of governmental meddling. It makes the assumption that students who are attending colleges and universities need to be coddled… that they’re not able to determine right from wrong.”

— Missouri House Minority Leader Jeff Harris, D-Columbia, during debate regarding the "Intellectual Diversity"Bill, HB 213, which would require universities to report to the General Assembly the measures they are taking to insure "intellectual diversity."
