I see no difference between
I see no difference between this rumor and the alleged Michelle Obama videotape. It's a rumor advanced by people on a certain side of the political spectrum to smear the nominee on other side.
Sure, McCain has a vicious temper and it may well have happened. (And I think the allegations on Michelle Obama are complete bullshit). But McCain's supposed transgression is not on videotape and there's no proof. The alleged reporters that overheard the comment aren't coming forward and they're not being outed and asked about the incident. What we have now is only hearsay. Some lefties are now treating it as 100% true.
Yesterday I got Francis Holland's press release via email (if that's the best term) with the word "c*nt" in the headline - and subject line in the email. Way to go Francis.
Barack Obama will be particularly vulnerable, more so between now and the election. His race, his cultural background, his upbringing etc. make him very vulnerable to a bunch of sleazy lies. This "whitey video" crap is only the beginning.
