WP says it's all becaues of the PC movement protecting gays.

But that misses the point. It has NOTHING TO DO WITH the fact that Foley is gay. It has everything to do with the fact that he solicited sex from a minor. The Homeland Security guy who solicited sex from a minor (female) is also someone I use as an example of a sexual predator protected and coddled by Republicans. I see no difference between him and Foley. Both broke the law and morality by using a position of power to try and get into the pants of a minor. That is what Reynolds, DeLay and Hastert are protecting.

The gay issue is irrelavent to the entire discussion.
