As a Republican, I have to interject....

A couple of things for the local Crats on this board.

Condi is hugely popular among the rank and file. You people hate her guts because she works for Bush, but she's popular in the country.

Two: Rudy is very popular as well; as is Mitt, but people are seeing his support of bans on gay marriage, etc. for the opporunism that it actually is. The base doesn't quite trust JMC.

I know this is a hard thing to conceive, but something else is being planned, I think, which is far more ingenious than anyone here, or at that goober Bob Fertik's site could begin to think of.

Condi likes to hide the fact that she has an IQ in the 180's. That way, all of you people think she is stupid.

Should be fun to watch.

Words to live by

"Way down deep the American people are afraid of an entangling relationship between formal religions -- or whole bodies of religious belief -- and government. Apart from constitutional law and religious doctrine, there is a sense that tells us it's wrong to presume to speak for God or to claim God's sanction of our particular legislation and his rejection of all other positions. Most of us are offended when we see religion being trivialized by its appearance in political throw-away pamphlets."

— -- Mario Cuomo, address, University of Notre Dame, September 13, 1984, quoted from Albert J. Menendez and Edd Doerr, The Great Quotations on Religious Freedom
