Olbermann agrees : Hillary Rodham Clinton is unfit to be President of the United States
Yesterday I wrote the following about Hillary Rodham Clinton :
Shameless.
Despicable.
Unfit to be President of the United States.
My words hit the front pages of both Daily Kos and The Moderate Voice. By evening Keith Olbermann had the following to say about Hillary Clinton's latest "gaffe" :
The most important part of the transcript is after the jump :

Keith Olbermann : "Senator, you are now campaigning, as if Barack Obama were the Democrat, and you… were the Republican"
[ Excerpt from, Special Comment : Wednesday 12 March 2008 ]
[ ... ] Senator Clinton:
This is not a campaign strategy.
This is a suicide pact.
This week alone, your so-called strategists have declared that Senator Obama has not yet crossed the "commander-in-chief threshold"…
But -- he might be your choice to be Vice President, even though a quarter of the previous sixteen Vice Presidents have become commander-in-chief during the greatest kind of crisis this nation can face: a mid-term succession.
But you'd only pick him if he crosses that threshold by the time of the convention.
But if he does cross that threshold by the time of the convention, he will only have done so sufficiently enough to become Vice President, not President.
Senator, if the serpentine logic of your so-called advisors were not bad enough...
Now, thanks to Geraldine Ferraro, and your campaign's initial refusal to break with her, and your new relationship with her -- now more disturbing still with her claim that she can now "speak for herself" about her vision of Senator Obama as some kind of embodiment of a quota...
If you were to seek Obama as a Vice President, it would be, to Ms. Ferraro, some kind of social engineering gesture, some kind of racial make-good.
Do you not see, Senator?
To Senator Clinton's supporters, to her admirers, to her friends for whom she is first choice, and her friends for whom she is second choice, she is still letting herself be perceived as standing next to, and standing by, racial divisiveness and blindness…

Donohue Goes After Olbermann
Proving that he is as incapable of parsing a sentence as he is of extending the "civil rights" to anyone other than the 350,000 members of his organization, Bill Donohue referred to Keith Olbermann as a "smear merchant." (Well, at least he didn't call him a "smear merchant of Venice". And in one of those great ironies that provokes in me that great Australian bit of profanity fuck me dead, Donohue agreed with Bill "Loofah-up-your-hoohaw" O'Reilly that Olbermann was a smear merchant. I fucking kid you not.
From dated today, Donohue says:
O’REILLY IS RIGHT:
OLBERMANN IS A “SMEAR MERCHANTâ€Catholic League president Bill Donohue responded to MSNBC talk-show host Keith Olbermann’s comment last night that Donohue made a bigoted statement when he once said, “Hollywood is controlled by secular Jews who hate Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular.†Here is Donohue’s rejoinder:
“Bill O’Reilly was right when he referred to Keith Olbermann as a ‘notorious smear merchant.’ Here’s why.
Okay. Here comes the part where those proverbial apples get equated with matzoh.
“On July 31, 2006, Olbermann interviewed Tom O’Neil, a Hollywood observer, and in the course of discussing Mel Gibson’s drunken anti-Semitic rant, O’Neil wondered aloud whether Mel could come back from this incident: ‘I don’t see how Mel rallies from this, especially in Jewish Hollywood.’ A few seconds later, Olbermann said, ‘And let’s clarify so nobody puts you on that list of folks who said things. When you said Jewish Hollywood, you meant the Jewish community in Hollywood, not Jewish Hollywood.’ O’Neil answered affirmatively.
