You'd think that Little Annie Terrorist's body of work is sufficiently unique that she need not plagiarize the work of others; but you'd be wrong. The republican party mouthpiece is a plagiarist, reports the right-wing New York Post.

July 2, 2006 -- Conservative scribe Ann Coulter cribbed liberally in her latest book, "Godless," according to a plagiarism expert.

John Barrie, the creator of a leading plagiarism-recognition system, claimed he found at least three instances of what he calls "textbook plagiarism" in the leggy blond pundit's "Godless: the Church of Liberalism" after he ran the book's text through the company's digital iThenticate program.

He also says he discovered verbatim lifts in Coulter's weekly column, which is syndicated to more than 100 newspapers, including the Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Sun-Sentinel and Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle.

Ann Coulter is one of the favorite spokespeople of the Republican Party, having appeared, among other venues, at CPAC, the annual rightist conference in Washington; in that particular instance, she spoke right after Dick Cheney.

So it's entirely fair to assume that Coulter speaks for the Republican Party, and that her views represent those of the party.

So does the Republican Party support her statement on the 9/11 widows "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazis. I have never seen people enjoying their husband's death so much."?

Not a single Other than Pataki, no Republican elected official in New York State has publicly said a word about Coulter's vicious attacks on the 9/11 widows. Silence, in this case, implies consent.

We suggest that all New Yorkers who live in Republican districts get on the phone and ask what their representative has to say about Coulter's statements. Contact info is after the break.

I know she shouldn't be given any publicity whatsoever, but Ann Coulter's most recent oeuvre - "Godless: the church of liberalism" - is just too good an example of how the right hates everything that is decent and good in this country to simply pass on by.

In particular, I'd direct your attention to a this excerpt of her book, from an exchange she had with Matt Lauer this morning, as quoted on her Amazon page.

LAUER: On the 9-11 widows, and in particular a group that had been critical of the administration:

" These self-obsessed women seem genuinely unaware that 9-11 was an attack on our nation and acted like as if the terrorist attack only happened to them. They believe the entire country was required to marinate in their exquisite personal agony. Apparently, denouncing bush was part of the closure process."

Coulter is, in all fairness and objectivity, a hateful shrew. She thrives on publicity, even if that involves mocking widows. Perhaps especially if it involves mocking widows.

While perusing my homeotwn's New York Daily News, I came across yet another disturbing report of female pedophilia :

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- When a 16-year-old boy rolled into his driveway with a Mercedes-Benz no one had ever seen before, his mother got suspicious.

After some questioning, the teenager told his mother that the car was a gift from Lisa Frodella, 39. Police said their investigation revealed the married mother had two sexual encounters with the youth at Long Island hotels in March and April.

Frodella surrendered to police Wednesday on charges of rape and a criminal sexual act. A judge set bail at $40,000 cash, or $120,000 bond.

Is it me or the numbers of women accussed of these cases are growing by the minute? I mean, just in the last year I've heard of jaw-dropping charges against women, some of the cases happening here in New York City and involving public school teachers (yet another reason to homeschool).

It's not everyday I read that bastion of online conservatism, but World Net Daily has an improbable list of women pedophiles; including the recently notorious Mary Kay Le Tourneau. Crime Library, by the way, has a hideously pulp fictioney account of her life and the infamy surrounding her own family's sexploits. It creeps me out her bio reads like a five cent novel.
