Ft. Collins, CO Marriott
Please SAVE the DATES - this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever! Click here for registration details. This year, we are doing things a little differently, so please note the changes!
This year's event will be held at:
Ft. Collins Marriott Hotel
350 East Horsetooth Rd.
Ft. Collins, CO 80525
A major renovation was recently completed at this hotel, so the rooms are very fresh and nicely done - and they were awarded the Energy Star rating for their renovation! There is a great restaurant in the lobby, and all the amenities you would expect from a Marriott property.
Guest rooms will be offered at a group rate of $109/night if reserved by Feb. 25. After that time, the rooms will go up to the regular rate of $169/night - so RESERVE EARLY!! In addition, discounted rooms will also be available for only $99/night if reserved by Feb. 25 at the nearby Marriott Courtyard property, and shuttle service to/from the main hotel will be available. These rooms will also go up to their regular rate of $159/night after Feb. 25.
Room reservations are available now, and must be made directly through the hotel at 1-970-226-5200,
1-800-228-9290, or online at http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/ftcco-fort-collins-marriott/ (enter group code: SOLSOLA). If calling for reservations, please reference the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association event.
Schedule of events:
Tuesday, March 25:
CoSEIA will present several 1-day workshops, including Advanced PV, Advanced Solar Thermal, OSHA/CPR, and more! All of these classes will qualify for CoSEIA CE credits. These workshops will be optional additions to the main Conference registration, and seating is limited - so RESERVE EARLY!
Details and registration for these classes will be available on our web site soon. Cost will be $150/person for each all-day course. Lunch and break refreshments will be included.
We will also be arranging an informal after-hours dinner/socializing location in downtown Ft. Collins Tuesday night for those staying over after class or arriving early for Wednesday's conference.
Wednesday, March 26:
Note the change: We have decided to START the day with our Members-only Annual Meeting and Breakfast, rather than the Dinner meeting we have done in the past. The members' meeting will be from 8-10am, then the Conference will open up to the public from 10:30-5:00, followed by an Exhibitor Networking Reception from 5-7pm. This year's conference keynote speaker is SENATOR KEN SALAZAR, and many other great speakers and panels will be featured as well. We will have many exhibitors in the Vendor Room between Noon and 7pm , and will allow extra time at lunch and afternoon break to network with them.
There will also be an informal "after-party" in downtown Ft Collins - a great opportunity to let your hair down, catch up with old solar friends, and get to know some of the newer faces!
Registration for Wednesday's events will be available on our web site soon. The cost will be $125 for CoSEIA members (includes Member Meeting/Breakfast and Conference/Lunch/Breaks/Exhibitor Reception), and $175 for non-members (Conference/Lunch/Breaks/Exhibitor Reception only).
Thursday-Saturday March 27-29:
Once again, we are pleased to partner with Solar Energy International for this event! They will be holding their 3-day Solar Industry Seminar on Thursday-Saturday, March 27-29. They will offer a wide array of classes for both beginners and more experienced solar professionals, technical trainings, exhibitor networking opportunities, and more! Many of their courses will qualify for NABCEP and CoSEIA CE credits, as well.
Of special note: Thursday, March 27: in addition to the regular Seminar curriculum, SEI will offer the 8-hr 2008 NEC with BILL BROOKS training! This course will be included in the full 3-day Seminar registration price, OR may be taken as a single day course for $300.
Please note that this 3-day Seminar and the Bill Brooks NEC training are separate from the CoSEIA offerings, and registration/payment for both must be done through SEI. More information on their portion of this combined event can be found on their web site, www.solarenergy.org
We look forward to seeing you all!
