Blogged about this ages ago...

About a year ago I analyzed our healthcare system in comparison with other nations in much greater detail. And, by the way, the graph you show isn't indicating whether the difference is statistically significant. They look about the same to me...which in itself is an important observation, buy I am unconvinced that the difference between Cuba and the US in your graph is anything but noise. But there are ways of testing that if you cared to do so.

I thought though that Cuba's was one of the lowest

compared to other Latin American countries. Francis, the graph is really not enough information --and you know how I feel about blogwhoring withouth substantial cross-posting, even if it is not linked to a post on your blog.

It's an important topic but you really need to contextualize this post.

Words to live by

"We live in poverty, without any basic facilities and no one coming to enquire about our problems. All of a sudden all the television crew, media persons and doctors wearing surgical masks are roaming our dirt roads to collect more statistics. Our chickens were our only source of income and now they have destroyed even that. Is this what is called governance?"
