Getting biblical with The Brick Testament

[via The Brick Testament]
It's the Bible on LEGOS.
That's right. Reenactments of the Bible using LEGOS building blocks. A total drug-free trip. Totally whacked out and awesome.

Yes!
The kids have it and love it. I actually think it's the cutest thing ever. I love the music bar scene. It's one of the few fight games I don't mind.
Ready for Luke and Han Solo Then?
. . .StarWars II comes out this fall, to include the three original episodes and more than doubling our favorite characters. Supposedly the two games will even fit together on some levels and worlds to combine all the characters and episodes from both games at the same time!
Our ten-year-old is a huge fan and trawls the official site daily for every scrap and clue. He says your music bar scene is "Dexter's Diner" and that weird guy behind the counter is Dexter.
I personally can't wait for Princess Leia, even if she's all alone. Although now my resident expert is saying I shouldn't write this, because technically, there's a Princess Leia in the first game already, who is unlocked when you beat the secret level and stand in front of Dexter, use the arrow keys to go to "purchase characters" and then move left until you see her silhouetted signature cinnamon bun hair -
"Leia is a driven, dedicated individual. She has a forceful, some would say abrasive, personality. She is professional in all respects, but occasionally relaxes her guard to let her strong compassion and quirky sense of humor show. . ."
Like just about every woman we know?
;-)
I have a resident
I have a resident eight-year-old Star Wars fan ... (Almost 8) and I hadn't heard about the Lego video game ... maybe this time Mom can be the one to wow him with my insider info! Thx!
The Head of John the Baptist
Btw, in the "Jesus is Baptized" scene -
My expert says John the Baptist's head is Doctor Kilroy's from the Johnny Thunder set, juxtaposed with the torso born on Jar Jar Binks - ya just gotta love the Creative Class . .

Love it!
We are major Lego fans around here! (No Denmark boycotts for us) Have you seen the Lego Star Wars video game yet?
