MTV is now a lifestyle network:

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - MTV on Wednesday unveiled a new scheduling strategy that will reshuffle and expand its primetime lineup. In addition, the lifestyle programming network has greenlit two series, one featuring "Jackass"'
Bam Margera and the other centered on wrestling.

WTF! I guess the music part of Music TV is just a metaphor.

MTV hasn't been MTV for years. Had almost no resemblence to its original format.

I knew I was old when I first got a mortgage. Nothing says "YOU ARE NOW AN ADULT" like a mortgage. I still have the college/grad school reaction to the call of "free food," though.
