I tried to quit you Viggo, but you make it so hard

Viggo Mortensen has failed me and the world miserably. It's a Friday morning and the world is still not a better place all because of Viggo. It is Friday morning and I still don't have my legs wrapped around the lefty-commie-pino hunkiness that is Viggo Mortensen.

He is not only one of the first celebrities against the war, but he is the first one to call for the impeachment of George Bush. He has gone so far as to visit Iraq after publishing a book about the occupation. And when he came back, right before going back to filming, the man campaigned for an anti-war Democrat in New York state.

The problem is, he is still not betwixt my legs.

So I've tried to quit him.

Then he goes on the Colbert Report and does this :

I hate you Viggo Mortensen. How dare you make me laugh. I hate Stephen Colbert even more. How dare you enlist Stephen Colbert to turn me on with your sense of humor.

I swear, pull this off one more time and you'll be dead to me.

PS : An open letter to Viggo Mortensen

Viggo,

I still believe you should hit the internets and start blogging. I see though that you need to deal with your (copyright) control issues. It is OK to let your content be free on the internets darling. I mean, you give your books away for free, why not save some trees and just put it on a blog?

If you think that thing you have on the front of Perceval Press is a blog, I'd like to share what you're smoking because it is NOT. If you need sort your copyright issues, drop me an email or two. I promise I'll behave. Unless, of course, you don't want me to.

We need you on the iternets. We need a voice like yours badly. Give it a think or two ... oh, and please, do me a favor. Come and blog at our site as well. Mi blog es tu blog. Although if you want to go all Cervantes on me, mi bitácora es tu bitácora.

Besos,
Liza

I so understand you liza!

I so understand you liza! ;-) Viggo has not been trapped between my legs either despite any full-body fantasies of mine. ;-) I haven't seen this video yet (damn dial up internet!) but I plan to very soon.

Why does this man have to turn us all on so much? And why, when he finally does something stupid like this, does he succeed in being really funny, thereby turning us on even more instead of turning us off? ;-)

I too am eternally addicted to Viggo, despite all I do to turn myself off to him. And despite all he does, he only succeeds in making me want him all the more! Argh!

You know, if he would just come out and say he was gay (even if it was a lie), that would probably finally do it to stop me lusting after the man!

I watched it!

Okay, I finally downloaded the Colbert Report clip and watched it. It took an hour and a half to download but it was well worth it! ;-) Viggo is such a lovable nut! But I hope he didn't let Steve keep that sword! It's too cool of a prop to just give away! ;-) Anyway, was there more to it than just the LOTR spoof? Did he actually do an interview on the show too? Or was he just there to endorse Stephen Colbert for President? ;-)

One more thing - I agree with you Liza, Viggo really needs to start blogging that sense of humor of his online! He could easily put up a blog.html page up on Perceval Press. If he wanted, I could even make one for him that he could use! ;-) But even if he doesn't enlist my help, I would love to see him actually writing his thoughts more online. BTW, what do you think he is smoking? Lol. But I agree, the PP news page is not a blog, it's a news feed, with a bit of poetry and random thoughts and quotes interspursed between the news.
