Rachel Maddow on The Tonight Show

Earlier in the evening I asked : what is it about Rachel Maddow that people go ga-ga over her? Is it the voice? Is it the smirks? Is it the sparkly eye shadow? I got a mini-onslaught of responses.

She has Aaron Brazell and other guys enthralled by her political wit and geekyness. Erin Kotecky Vest wants to have a hawt politically sapphic pillow fight with her. Mei Lin Miranda, on the other hand, wants to have smeo hawt sapphic love with her. She's been described as having the k. d. lang of geeks, with a sexy ass brain that makes her one of the smarter people on tv, one who won't play the saccarine anchor babe game.

Hope you enjoy her three minutes with Jay Leno.

Me?

I'd totally hit that Smiling

I'd hit that.

Words to live by

"A school prayer amendment would confer upon public school boards a power the First Amendment now denies to Congress and the states, that is, the power to establish religion."

— -- Sam Ervin, Preserving the Constitution (1984), quoted from Albert J. Menendez and Edd Doerr, The Great Quotations on Religious Freedom
