Things I friggin' hate : Stupidly corrupt Democrats
If you have been hiding under a rock today, you have not heard then of how fantastically the Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevish, was arrested today on charges that he was trying to sell the US Senate seat vacated by President-Elect Barack Obama.
Yeah. The guy gets caught trying to sell the United States Senate seat vacated by the President-Elect of the United State. You know, because this is just an obscure little state that's under the radar AFTER HAVING ONE OF IT'S SENATORS BECOME THE FIRST BLACK MAN ELECTED PreSIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!
Not only that, the guy has been under investigation for ages by the same U. S. Attorney that took out Scooter Libby. You read that right : The dimwit has the nerve to doubt the prosecutorial abilities of Patrick Fitzgerald.
I just love the way Jazz Shaw of The Moderate Voice put it :
"Blagojevich’s Senate Selection Process Investigated"
Really? You’re investigating his selection process? Given the details leaking out already, isn’t that somewhat akin to checking out Jeffrey Dahmer’s kitchen for questionable cooking techniques?
And this is why I friggin' hate stupidly corrupt Democrats. When it comes to corruption, Republicans seem to have that pat down : "This scrumptious yellow cake is radioactive and not a bakery treat. Let's invade Iraq!"
Republicans know how to do corruption : They run multi-million dollar churches with anti-gay agendas while fucking their gay lovers high on ecstasy. They warehouse third-world country indentured workers while their military contractors blast people away Iraq and donating huge amounts of money to stop gays from legally acquiring a ball and chain. And this doesn't even cover a speck on the iceberg of corruption that Republicans blazed during their 30-year reign of terror on this land. Iran-Contra Gate? Abu Ghraib? Oh negro please.
Democrats? They have a president caught lying about a blow job with an intern. They have a former NYS Attorney laundering money in order to have sex with a high-priced hooker without condoms. And now we have an idiot of a governor trying to shake down influencers --among other things-- for a shot at the seat of the President-Elect.
Unfruckingbelievable.

Tell me about it!
Brooklyn is another corner of Democratic corruption (generally rare compared with Republican corruption). I spend half my time fighting corrupt Democrats in Brooklyn. I find interesting that one of the people being considered for Hillary's Senate seat is Nydia Velasquez. Nydia is DESPISED by the corrupt Brooklyn Democratic machine. She is clean and progressive, and the corrupt machine can't stand that. If she is chosen, is that a sign that the corrupt Brooklyn machine is next to come down? Or is it a sign that Nydia is being moved up so the machine can fill HER seat, and thus rid themselves of a local enemy?
I am glad Illinois is cleaning up its act. I hope we can do the same in Brooklyn. I should note that Democrats USUALLY reject their corrupt members. Republicans EMBRACE their most corrupt members, and that has been part of their downfall.
