The Heiligendamm Hangover

The media are uncharacteristically agog over a bit of a mishap to befall George Bush at the G8 summit in Heiligendamm, Germany. It appears that Dear Leader has a bit of a 'stomach ailment' that is keeping him from participating in meetings this morning.

The story is being run with these photos.

Yeah, baby, we've all had that kind of stomach ailment.

It's non-alcoholic.

THERE's the problem!

That would make me sick too. Smiling
So he should have had whatever Tony is enjoying maybe, can't tell what his different bottle is in this photo, except that it's not Buckler.

Hmmm...

Judging from the general shape of the bottle my guess is a Bass Ale. But only a shot in the dark.

As to Bush, rumors of his relapsing circulate from time to time, probably largely due to his erratic behavior. But it seems this time there is no evidence that he has relapsed and so he remains, in my mind, as a dry drunk.

Hmmm...

So it's now official. Bush is off the wagon and has gone from a dry drunk to relapsed.

Impaired

Either way, his judgement seems to be impaired.

I would leave no troops in Iraq whatsoever...The difference between me and the other candidates is, they would leave troops there indefinitely, and I would not.
