VOTE THIS TUESDAY!!! (New Jersey Edition)
If progressives want a solid voice in American politics they sure as hell better vote, vote carefully and, ideally, get out the vote for the best candidates. And off-year, low voter turnout elections like what is coming up TUESDAY NOVEMBER 6TH are the best chances for progressives to affect the outcome. So from now until Tuesday, get busy to prove progressives are a force in American politics.
This comes from New Jersey for Democracy. First remember that an election is coming up. Off year elections have HORRIBLE voter turnout, which means more than ever, YOUR VOTE COUNTS. It is the chance for progressives to have real upset victories. So, with that in mind: GET OUT AND VOTE ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 6th!!

Linda Mastellone for Flemington Borough Council
Linda Mastellone is another great home-grown DFA candidate. She has been a member of Hunterdon DFA since 2004. Linda's campaign is grassroots-driven; her platform centers around zero-based budgeting, revitalizing "Main Street", and working with the tenant community. She's currently the Associate Director of Events for the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Linda's victory would give Democrats a majority on the Flemington Council. Let's show what the grassroots of New Jersey can do by helping her get elected:

In NYC by and large it was all settled in the primaries. Right now the only exciting question is in a part of Brooklyn should people vote for the very qualified, reasonable but quite conservative Republican McCall for civil court judge or the very much UN-qualified, homophobic, obnoxious hand picked candidate of the corrupt Brooklyn Democratic machine, Noach Dear. I know some progressives who are seriously considering the Republican because he is genuinely qualified while Noach Dear has never practiced law and has never even taken all the required courses (continuing education classes) to practice law. And both are conservative.
I think there are other NY State elections that matter but I generally leave that up to Bouldin and try to focus on either Brooklyn specfic stuff or non-NY stuff.
