Lynn Siprelle died on Mother's Day at 9:50 pm.
She was revived 30 seconds later. [1]
Don't worry. The prognosis is good [2]. She gets a defibrillator today in the afternoon (PST). That means though, she will have a long way to recovery. Two more weeks in the hospital and maybe another 3 or 4 more weeks before she can resume working.
Lynn needs our help.
Lynn has given a lot to the blogosphere. It's time to give some back.
Whether it is as the publisher The New Homemaker [3], Hip Mama [4], the two oldest and largest community blogs for progressive women; the evil genius behind Dean speaks for me [5] and Oregon Media Insiders [6]; as a volunteer trainer and developer for CivicSpaceLabs [7] and Drupal [8]; or as the lead developer of the YearlyKos website [9], Lynn has given to the blogosphere in spades.
It's in times like these we can show her our appreciation.
I am going to have this button up until the end of the month. I really have not thought about hitting a goal. If you think we should set a dollar amount and go for that until we reach it, please let me know.
What if you can't shell out a few bucks for her now? Don't worry. Just spread the word and help (and a few bucks) will soon follow.
