Revision of Breaking News : Could this be the people behind the Brangelina stolen photographs? from 26 June 2006 - 9:58am

I have been on the net for ages now, going as far as 1992-1993 when I got my first email account. And I think I was in the first wave of we surfers to get an actual site back in 1994 (eventhough I didn't really get a domain name until 2000). And yet ... and yet.

I still get shocked at how fast things move on the internet. Which is why I always wonder about how much did the Bush Administration really wanted to catch Osama Bin Laden. Had they googled him after September 11, they would have caught him by the 13th. Just saying.

An anonynmous tipster sent me this yesterday :

I'm not sure how reliable this is, or if it's even the same person but the email address from that guy belongs to this website and myspace. He's some dude from Massachusetts who lives in CT as a computer programmer. Bastid!

And people wonder why I love the net.

Lowrdr27 seems to be the pseudonym for two guys :

Tim Barnes

and

Bill Keyes

Let's just say that after reading Foxes in the Henhouse : How the Republicans Stole the South and the Heartland and What the Democrats Must Do to Run 'em Out, I can tell you this is the kind of down home country guy Mark Warner wants to spends his afternoons courting for presidential votes and inviting over the next four years to the White House. Yeehaw!

Can you feel the NASCAR love?

The story seems to be that a camera containing a memory stick with well over 400 photographs of the Jolie-Pitt family was stolen en route to their California home. Somehow one of these men got the the memory stick.

Its seems like the unsuspecting recepient of the memory stick was Mr. Keyes, who is allegedly a computer ... ahem ... expert. So Mr. Keyes, sophisticated man as he is, sent a flurry of emails to several organizations and bloggers.

I am assuming he did this after googling Brangelina photo baby. culturekitchen happens to be one of the top 10 sites you get when you run that search.

I find this whole situation incredibly sad. Go through this man's photo galleries at his site and then come back and report on what you see. The fact that a trailer park is the height of his vacationing experiences is just ... wow.

Any criminal attorneys in the house? I know you're out there. C'mon, tell me what's gonna happen next.

Words to live by

This year's first day of April was noticeably lacking in April Fool's jokes as far as mention in the media was concerned. Perhaps this is due to the fact that, with George Bush and Dick Cheney still at the helm of the ship of state, there is no need to single out a particular day for foolishness or nasty pranks in the United States: every day is April Fool's day in this country for the time being.
