And all those people that say, well, we're just covering the corruption? If you are doing that, that's great, but stop getting jiggy with conflating the two sets of email/IM messages. That's a level of dishonesty I thought we wouldn't sink to -- to intimate Hastert had seen the famous penile-measuring IM when it's not even clear yet he saw the one where a kid was asked for a picture.

My thoughts on this are still very much in play. But I think I'll wait for the facts to emerge before I start emailing around salacious IMs.

People who adopt Rovian tactics to win shouldn't be surprised if their party's moral center starts to rot. We would be a shame since we Dems only recently got our moral center back...
