Feminist knitter pirate queen plans on taking over the world. But not now, later. ... and a proud member for 1 year 29 weeks

I'm a New Hampshire native within poking range of turning 30, looking at a major crossroads in my life. I've got 12 years of vocal training under my belt, but I don't sing outside of karaoke or along with the radio, I'm a freelance illustrator without any jobs lined up and no time to draw for pleasure, and all the desire but none of the funds to continue with my college education. Currently, I'm working as a Starbucks barista, and knitting as often as possible despite my time-crunch. I live in a 100-year-old rambly-shambly Victorian house with my husband, our son, my Master, two other housemates, two pet rats, a cat, and a fish.

Words to live by

"We live in poverty, without any basic facilities and no one coming to enquire about our problems. All of a sudden all the television crew, media persons and doctors wearing surgical masks are roaming our dirt roads to collect more statistics. Our chickens were our only source of income and now they have destroyed even that. Is this what is called governance?"
